This is the homepage of the 2007 Philadelphia Phlyer, a joint road race weekend of the Eastern (ECCC) and Atlantic (ACCC) Collegiate Cycling Conferences. The Phlyer started in 2006 as an ECCC race weekend put on by the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University cycling teams. Over 350 riders competed in two days of awesome collegiate racing at Lemon Hill, Memorial Hall, and West River Drive in downtown Philadelphia. A huge hit with racers, the event was later voted the best weekend of the 2006 ECCC season. With the addition of the ACCC the 2007 edition will be even bigger and better. Several new teams have also joined as promoters, making this year's event the combined effort of the Drexel University, Johns Hopkins University, Temple University, University of Pennsylvania, and Villanova University cycling teams.

2007/03/07 As of Wednesday evening, there are already 400 pre-registrations, with BikeReg still open until Friday evening and many more sure to register day-of. USCF circuit and TTT races are also looking very healthy.

2007/02/13 Registration is open. Race flyers will be up as soon as Mark A gets around to it. Sponsor information is also up now. Thanks a lot to all of our sponsors, you make this event possible! This year's supporters are Arkema and Trophy Bikes, both returning sponsors, as well as Plexiglas and Stuart Leon Law Office.

City permits secured; detailed schedules and race flyers in progress. Registration will open in mid-February. Packet for potential sponsors is available on sidebar.

2006/11/22
The race has been officially scheduled for March 10 and 11, 2007. The Johns Hopkins University team is officially on board, in addition to the Temple University and Villanova University clubs. Basic webspace has been created, and more information will be posted as permits and sponsors are secured.
