Lodging

For the 2007 Philly Phlyer, we're offering two main lodging options: A reduced-rate block of rooms in a race hotel, and host housing.

Race Hotel: Best Western Center City

This year's race hotel is the Best Western Center City, located less than ten minutes from all of the courses:

Best Western Center City
501 N 22nd St
Philadelphia, PA 19130-3507
(215) 568-8300

Each room includes free parking, high speed Internet, and local calls. Parking can accommodate short buses and 15 passenger vans. There's a cafe and bar in the hotel and a 24hr convenience store across the street. Check in is 3pm and check out is noon.

Rates and Deadlines!

We have reserved 25 rooms for the nights of March 9 and 10, 2007. Our special rate is $99 per room per night for a four person room. Including tax it's $112.86 per room per night. When making a reservation, use group number #4084 to get this rate. Reservations must be made by February 26, 2007!

Update

We've extended our block of rooms to 35 and the deadline to Friday, March 2nd. However, as of Feb 26th there were already 27 reservations and no rooms in the hotel outside our block, so get yours while you can!

Host Housing

Cortland University Cycling is coordinating the ECCC's host housing program for 2007. ACCC riders are invited to work with them to arrange housing at the Philly Phlyer. We are currently gathering as much host housing in the area as possible, but space will be limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis to the large number of people that will be asking for it, with a small preference toward small teams. Email Elyse and Andrew at cortlandcyclingclub@yahoo.com to get your team hooked up.

Update

We've pulled together some 120 host housing spaces, but they're going fast, so make sure to get your requests in!

Other Options

Hotels inside the city without our group rate can be somewhat expensive, so make sure to plan early and reserve rooms under our group deal. However, there are a number of other hotels that can be found through the usual travel websites. In addition, a good option may be to stay in or around Cherry Hill, NJ, just 20--30 minutes away across the Delaware. Bring cash for the bridge tolls if you don't have EZ-Pass.
