RACE-DAY PROGRAMS AT THE PHILLY PHLYER

Hi folks,

In addition to the usual race flyer and website, this year the Philly Phlyer will be printing a race program and distributing it to teams and spectators over the weekend. It should be pretty sweet---fancy color covers (you know we do good flyers & brochures down here), and fun stuff inside. I'm writing for two reasons: You want to buy space in there, and you want to send me your team jersey or logo.

The inside will be ads for local restaurants, convenience stores, etc. You're interested in buying space for any of several reasons:

- You're putting on a race later in the year, whether ECCC or otherwise. We're going to have over 500 racers looking at this program. This is a cheap, easy way to put your race into rider's heads early in the year and get it into their season plans.

- You want to give a shout-out to whomever: Mark A, the CC girls, UVM (*), your own awesome teammates, or the ECCC, ACCC, and Philly area cyclists in general. It's cheap & easy to do---just hit the button on the program website to purchase a 2-line classified ad for $10!

Also, and this should definitely interest everybody, part of the program is going to be a guide to collegiate cycling. The goal is to inform spectators and give everybody the scoop on the two conferences. Part of that will be a listing of every team in the ACCC and ECCC.

What we'd like to do is include every team's jersey or logo in there. Admittedly, it won't be real big---there's a lot of teams---but it'll let everyone know who you are & who they're cheering for. This is going to be a lot of work for us, but it's going to look super fancy.

To be a part of that, what we need you to do is email tjkopena@cs.drexel.edu with: PDF, EPS, AI, or high resolution (big!) PNG or JPG images of your team jersey or logo. Jersies will work better, to help people identify you on the road.

This is a big project, so we need everyone to mail in their jersey graphics by Feb 21st. We'll be taking orders for ads until Feb 25th. We're also posting all of this on our website, so don't be left out!
